An update or SOMETHING has seriously jacked up this game. Without making changes to my team, I'm getting matched against people FIVE TIMES my power. No exaggeration. Resource tiles outside of battle (like expanding your kingdom) are now TEN TIMES more expensive! If you enjoy playing a game where you are OVERWHELMINGLY mismatched and doomed to lose almost every battle, this is the game for you. Personally, if they don't fix the battle match-up system I'll be uninstalling VERY soon.

When I started playing this game, I thought it was really fun and clever, but it wasn't long before I realized that the first player to get 2 gold mines wins every time, and getting gold mines is 100% luck of the draw. Strategy plays a small part, but gold snowballs really quickly and when you have a steady income, it's next to impossible to lose. Once I realized this, it drained all the fun out of the game. It looks like a creative RTS game, but it's really just a coin flip simulator.

The game starts fun, and progression is clear. However, eventually it becomes impossible to face opponents who have a catapult(they demolish your base either nearly immediately or little by little from way across the map), gem of enhancement(turn your army against you, usually when you get your first legendary unit, impossible to defend) or Staff of Teleportation (teleport troops behind your base, usually after getting a legendary unit). That isn't strategy, its deus ex machina. Against you.
