When I started playing this game, I thought it was really fun and clever, but it wasn't long before I realized that the first player to get 2 gold mines wins every time, and getting gold mines is 100% luck of the draw. Strategy plays a small part, but gold snowballs really quickly and when you have a steady income, it's next to impossible to lose. Once I realized this, it drained all the fun out of the game. It looks like a creative RTS game, but it's really just a coin flip simulator.

Game is a good idea and has so much potential, but there's no balance. You can start the game with 250 hex all around and not be able to make a move. The enemy can spend 25 and get their most powerful unit out. It just doesn't make any sense. You can spend 250 to get skeletons... The "luck" aspect of the game just needs to go away and all hexs need to be free build so you can actually manage gold. Fun for a few hours, but it's not worth paying for anything because the victories are hollow.

I actually enjoyed the game at the beginning but it has major balance problems. The amount gold and their location basically decides the game. Not to mention the spells you can unlock later in the game give you an automatic win against newer players. There really should be a surrender button since you can pretty much determine in the first five seconds if you can win or not. The update just makes it worse and makes you waste more time on battles you can't possibly win.
