While overall fun for a while. Unfortunately, this game falls into the same path as all the other ones that are like it. If you hit stage four or five and if you are a free player, you might as well just hang it up. You will immediately start losing about eighty percent of your battles unless you were "Lucky" or paid for chest to get gold and upgrade shards for legendary units. And you can't earn gold or diamonds in a way that's productive for long-term playing of this game as a free player.

When I started playing this game, I thought it was really fun and clever, but it wasn't long before I realized that the first player to get 2 gold mines wins every time, and getting gold mines is 100% luck of the draw. Strategy plays a small part, but gold snowballs really quickly and when you have a steady income, it's next to impossible to lose. Once I realized this, it drained all the fun out of the game. It looks like a creative RTS game, but it's really just a coin flip simulator.

deeply strategic. easy to learn but can take a few weeks to develop good strategy. game still feels new with a little bit of jank and missing features but core gameplay is solid. it can seem very pay to win at the beginning but as you unlock some more cards and level up your cards and Commander it equalizes. definitely takes a few hundred matches to get a feel for it. personally I love it and have climbed very high without paying (been playing about a month).
