About this app

Doodly is a relaxed little drawing studio for casual doodling — no drawing
skill required, no account, no ads. Open it, pick a mode, and start making
little symmetric patterns, falling-sand scenes, and looping animations in a
minute or two of downtime.

What it does: Doodly gives you one canvas and six very different ways to draw
on it. Draw with your finger and Doodly handles the rest — mirroring your
strokes into a mandala, pouring coloured sand that falls with gravity, or
drawing a spirograph curve entirely on its own once you set the gears. When
you're happy with a piece, save it as a static image, export it as a looping
animated GIF, or keep it as a Live Project you can reopen and keep editing
later. Everything is saved locally in your own in-app Library, sorted into
Static drawings, Loops, and Live Projects.

KEY FEATURES
✓ Mandala mode — every stroke fans out across 6, 8, 12, or 16 symmetric axes,
so simple finger-drawn lines turn into ornate radial patterns.
✓ Mirror mode — draws are reflected across a vertical, horizontal, or four-way
axis for clean, balanced shapes and quick typographic experiments.
✓ Sand Fall mode — pour coloured grains onto the canvas, then hit play and
watch real falling-sand physics pile them up.
✓ Flow Trail mode — glowing strokes that fade behind your finger, recorded
as a short looping animation instead of a still image.
✓ Spirograph mode — no finger drawing at all: set the gear sizes and pen
offset, hit play, and watch a classic hypocycloid curve unfold on its own.
✓ Frames mode — draw frame by frame with onion-skin ghosting of earlier
frames, then stitch up to 12 frames into a looping GIF at your chosen speed.
✓ Save your way — export a PNG, a looping GIF at your preferred quality, or a
Live Project you can resume and keep editing.
✓ A simple in-app Library — every saved piece stays on your device, organised
into Static, Loops, and Live Projects tabs.
✓ Four bundled colour palettes (Dawn, Dusk, Garden, Neon) plus a full custom
colour mixer for picking exactly the shade you want.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a mode from the Studio toolbar — Mandala, Mirror, Sand, Flow,
Spirograph, or Frames.
2. Draw with your finger (or, in Spirograph, adjust the gear sliders and hit
play) and use the Tools sheet to fine-tune brush size, symmetry, density,
fade time, or frame rate for the mode you're in.
3. Tap Save, choose a format — static image, animated loop, or Live Project —
and it lands in your Library, ready to revisit, share, or export.

Why Doodly: it's built around short, low-pressure sessions rather than a
full illustration app's learning curve — most of the modes require no
drawing skill at all, since the symmetry, physics, or procedural math does
the work of turning a simple gesture into something worth looking at. There
is no account to create, no cloud sync, and no ads interrupting a two-minute
doodle break.

Privacy: Doodly works fully offline. There's no account, no analytics, and
nothing is uploaded anywhere — every drawing, loop, and Live Project is
stored only in the app's own storage on your device until you choose to
share or export it.
