You've inherited a run-down little spa. Your customers are blocks of tofu.

Drop one in the hot tub and it flushes red, steam curling off the top. Drop it in the cold plunge and it turns blue, glinting with ice. Watching a whole floor of tofu cycle between warm and cold is the point.


▸ WHERE YOU PUT THINGS IS THE STRATEGY

Facilities sit on a grid. Put a cold tub beside a hot one and the contrast-bath bonus lights up. Put the lounge beside the sauna for another. Same buildings, same count — a different layout means a different income per second.

Empty tiles become hallways. Wall off a path and guests can't get through, so you're solving for adjacency and walkways at the same time.

The long soaker settles in and stays. The scrub-goer tips the most. The quick-washer is in and out, freeing up a seat. The kid came to splash around and has half the patience — let a queue build and they're the first to leave.

The ring above each head tells you what they're doing. Yellow means using, red means waiting.

With no staff, guests float a "checkout" bubble and wait for you to tap it. Tap it yourself, or hire someone and never think about it again — the moment you hire, that job disappears from your hands.

Front desk, snack counter, scrub table. Wages come out in one lump on payday, so when to hire is a real call.
