lots of problems with this game (especially on a Pixel 3XL). the buttons and sliders are just barely functional, which is not good in a game which requires quick response. and it doesn't fit the screen properly. i finally get the volume slider to go to the minimum, but as soon as I save the setting, it goes back up.

(Edit: Reviewers having issues with navigation should check if their device offers a "full-screen" mode or similar - fixed the issue for me.) I loves me a good shmup, and Danmaku Unlimited 3 fits the bill nicely. It's gorgeous to look at, the music is awesome, it controls beautifully, and it's hugely addictive. The learning curve is a touch steep at first, but the game is surprisingly good at teaching you how it works through trial and error (if I'm honest, mostly error). I'm hooked.

Stunning, the only word to describe it. The soundtrack, the visuals, patterns, difficulty progression, all stunning. The simplicity of the mechanics is easy to learn, yet actually learning the whole game inside out; proper usage of limit breaks, dancing with the bullets and death requires both time and wits. Best played with controllers, since your finger may get in the way of the attack.
