Our mission is to democratize access to drug checking so that everybody who uses drugs can be informed about what’s in their next dose. We’re able to do that by dramatically lowering costs, streamlining technical complexity, and using a combination of machine learning and cloud-based sharing to keep up with unpredictable drug markets and share information as widely as possible. The DoseCheck system employs a seamless combination of three technologies to accomplish this:

1. A device that fits in the palm of your hand with the capability to do non-targeted electrochemical detection;

2. A machine learning algorithm that analyzes test data to identify both known and emerging drug threats; and

3. A dedicated smartphone app that controls the device and allows sharing of results across a network of users.

DoseCheck generates results in under 5 minutes, with a lower limit of detection of drugs than existing technologies like Fourier-
Transform Infrared Spectrometry. DoseCheck can be used by anyone, anywhere: it doesn’t require training to operate, it’s battery-powered and Bluetooth-enabled, and, because of its small size, highly portable.
