Every year in Switzerland, nearly 10 000 people are victims of a cardiac arrest. In such a situation, every minute lost reduces up to 10% the chances of patient survival. In our country, 5% of victims survive such an accident until discharge from hospital. This rate could reach 30% if the chain of survival functioned quite optimal.
In our township, each emergency service has its own geographical basis.
