About this game

Take the captain’s chair in DotaCaptain, an unofficial fan-made drafting strategy game inspired by Dota 2 Captain’s Mode.

Build a five-hero lineup through a complete pick-and-ban draft. Assign roles, choose your tactical approach, and watch the match unfold play by play. Every draft and strategy decision shapes the result.

BUILT AROUND THE DRAFT
DotaCaptain focuses on the decisions behind Captain’s Mode: pick order, bans, team synergy, roles, tempo, risk, and item planning. It does not reproduce Dota 2’s real-time combat. Instead, it turns drafting and strategy into a competitive management experience designed for quick sessions.

Guest practice is available without an account. An account and internet connection are required for ranked play, social features, cloud progression, and purchases.
