My all time favorite shooting game remade for mobile. All the music and everything else from the original is there. The simplified controls work well for this mobile version. Option to play in 4:3 mode or widescreen (full phone screen). Many other options as well. Overall, very impressed with this port and for only $1 ... Amazing! Thank you SNK for making this great game available.

This port of the famous shooter from the SNK AES console, blazing star, is one of my favorite all time shooters. This brings back memories when I was younger and I used to have a Neo Geo AES, and it's been years so I am so happy to find this port. It plays flawlessly, especially on my Samsung Galaxy fold 2, when folded open it uses the full screen and it's fantastic! Seriously the lower ratings from others are fake! Compared to other shmups on Android, this is a real winner and worth it. Try it!

Fast touch mode makes this feel as at-home for touch controls as is possible for a game like this. Love the art and graphics, sound depth is lacking. Stage 2 seems to have a display bug, but a great classic shooter to dip in for when killing time in a waiting room etc. at a solid pricepoint. Autofire is present as well, capped at 20 continues.
