Pantex Spot Meter is a reflected light spot meter for film photographers, designed around the workflow of classic Digital Spot Meters.
Point the reticle at a specific tone in your scene, read the EV value, place it where it belongs on the zone scale, and your exposure pairs reveal themselves. That's really all there is to it.

Whether you call it a spot meter or a light meter, this app measures reflected light the way a handheld meter does - no incident dome, no guesswork.

DEVICE REQUIREMENTS
Pantex Spot Meter reads light directly from your phone's camera sensor in RAW mode. Most modern Android phones support this, but some manufacturers - particularly on certain budget and mid-range models - restrict RAW camera access at the hardware level. On those devices the app will open, but the live view and metering won't function, as the required sensor data is unavailable.
Not sure if your phone is supported? The free meter uses exactly the same camera access as Pro - so you'll know straight away whether metering works on your device before any purchase.
