Headway is a minimalist arrow puzzle built on a single rule: blocked arrows don't move. Arrows lie across the grid as bent lines. Tap one and it flies off in the direction of its head — but only if the cell in front of the head is free. Everything else is a question of order. Find the right order, and the board always clears.
That one rule has a quiet consequence: there are no dead ends. Removing an arrow can only free the ones behind it, never trap them — so every puzzle is solvable from the first tap to the last. You are never stuck, only searching. There is no timer and no pressure. Just calm, satisfying order-finding logic in a dark, elegant interface.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Journey — a progressive path of levels that starts easy and keeps growing: bigger boards, more arrows, new board shapes.
• Daily Challenge — one puzzle a day. The same date is the same puzzle for everyone.
• Practice — pick a difficulty and play at your own pace.
WHEN A KNOT WON'T UNTIE
Each level gives you a few lives — tapping a blocked arrow costs one. Three boosters help you through: Hint points at an arrow you can remove, Eraser removes even a blocked arrow, and Wand clears several at once. Out of boosters? You can watch an ad to earn more.
THE DETAILS MATTER
Big boards support pinch-to-zoom. Arrow colors come in three palettes, including a color-vision friendly one. The records screen quietly keeps your streaks, best chains and daily condition.
