About this app

Kathy's Weather is the forecast as a beautifully typeset newspaper page.

No sky gradients, no frosted glass, no grid of identical tiles. Open the app and you get a weather page set in real type: an oversized temperature, hand-drawn weather glyphs, hairline rules, the day's readings laid out like a broadsheet almanac. It reads like something printed, not something rendered.

THE ALMANAC
• Today at a glance: temperature, conditions, and how it actually feels outside
• Wind, rain chance, humidity, UV index, and air quality, each with its own dial
• Sunrise and sunset on a drawn horizon arc, with tonight's moon phase
• The five-day outlook with a temperature range bar for each day — tap any day for its full hour-by-hour forecast
• The detailed forecast discussion, straight from the National Weather Service
• A live animated radar map — press play and watch the last hour of weather sweep across your area
• Severe weather bulletins, front and center when they matter

WATCHING THE WEATHER
• Active severe-weather alerts for your area, in full
• The Tropics: live storm tracks and forecast cones from the National Hurricane Center
• A home-screen weather tile that keeps up with the forecast

CHOOSE YOUR EDITION
• Morning Edition (cream), Evening Edition (dark), or the sepia Sunday Edition
• Fahrenheit or Celsius

HONEST AND LOCAL
• Forecasts, alerts, and radar built on data from the U.S. National Weather Service
• Just enter your ZIP code — no account, no sign-up, no personal information required
• United States coverage

The forecast, typeset and printed like a newspaper page. Nothing looks like it.
