About this app

Doyo is the easiest way to get something done at home.

Tell Doyo what is wrong in your own words — type it or say it, in any language. The assistant asks the questions a good tradesperson would ask, works out which service you need, and drafts the job for you. No forms full of dropdowns, no phoning around.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Describe the problem. "No hot water since this morning." "The gutters are overflowing." "I need the condo cleaned before Saturday."
2. Doyo asks a couple of questions, then puts the job together: the service, the time, the address.
3. Verified local pros respond. You see their rate, their rating and the jobs they have finished.
4. Pick your pro and book. Your card is held when you book and charged only once the job is done.
5. Follow the job from accepted to on the way to finished, and message your pro in the app.

WHAT YOU CAN BOOK

Home cleaning, plumbing, electrical, handyman and repairs, furnace and HVAC, gutter cleaning, fall yard cleanup and snow removal, painting, pest control, moving help, flooring, closets and storage, and renovation quotes.

ANY LANGUAGE

Describe the job in English, French, Persian or Spanish — whatever you actually speak. The assistant answers in the same language, and the app itself is available in all four.

PROS YOU CAN CHECK

Every pro on Doyo has had their government ID and a matching selfie confirmed, a police record check reviewed, and — for trades the province licenses, such as electrical and plumbing — their licence checked and kept in date. Tap the verified badge on any profile to see exactly which checks that pro has passed.

CLEAR PRICES

You see the hourly rate, the estimated hours and Doyo's service fee before you book, and an itemised receipt afterwards. Doyo's fee is added on the customer's side, so your pro keeps their full rate.

PHOTOS HELP

Add a photo or a screenshot in the chat. The assistant uses it to understand the job, and it goes to the pro with your request, so they arrive knowing what to expect.
