About this app

This application is designed to create and edit text files.

You can create, open, and save files directly on your phone. It includes a simple file browser to help you choose a file when opening a file and choose a location when saving one.

NOTES

• The application can work with large text files containing 10,000+ lines.
• There may be some delay when opening very large text files.
• When Text Wrap is turned off, the application can work with files up to 16 MB, and in some cases even 24 MB. However, for better performance, it is recommended to work with files around 8 MB or smaller.
• The application requires the INTERNET permission to run the web preview feature.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Starting from version 2.4, if you want to save a file as plain text with a .txt extension, you must include the extension in the filename when saving. The application will no longer add the .txt extension automatically.

Ratings and reviews

Primarily got the app because it requires only storage permissions and nothing else which i really like. As of right now the app is not functioning properly. I cannot save a file, as a message comes up " failed to save file, system error". I cannot create a folder as it tells me the "folder already exist". Also the app is not recognized as a txt editor on my GalaxyS10, meaning i cannot open txt files with it. It has no access to sd card. Would be an exellent app for $0.99 if it actually works.

App does what it is supposed to and handles large files well, unlike almost all other text editors I've tried. Good clean interface, very reliable app. I'd give it 5 stars except for one issue, when editing only a basic keyboard is shown instead of my normal Gboard. if this were addressed it would be perfect for text file editing. Update: Gboard support has been added, many thanks to the author, perfect now. 5*

Looks like I can't create new lines. Otherwise looks great. I don't mind that the scrolli g is a bit choppy although that could be better, too. EDIT: Using Smart Keyboard Pro
