VoteRight shows your real, complete ballot stack — from county council to school board to statewide offices — matched using the U.S. Census Bureau's official geocoder, then sourced from each state's official election authority: Maryland State Board of Elections and Virginia Department of Elections. EVIDENCE, NOT SPIN
Every candidate score is built from cited, sourced evidence: real voting records, on-the-record positions, and verified promises, drawn from each jurisdiction's own official council or legislative records system (see SOURCES below). If the evidence isn't there yet, VoteRight says so — a candidate never gets scored on silence.

VoteRight maps the real legal mechanism for your specific jurisdiction — recall election, judicial removal, charter petition, or none at all — with the exact law behind it. We never suggest a legal lever that doesn't exist where you live.

Weigh in on local advisory referenda. When a measure passes with real turnout, VoteRight turns it into a mandate that candidates are asked to answer on the record before the next election — and tracks whether the winner follows through afterward.
