About this app

Be aware, due to future external changes to comply with certain standards, this app may be unsupported by future versions of Minecraft.

Bedrock makes it possible to upload your Minecraft worlds to Google Drive. After you install Bedrock on your other Android devices, you can download that world from the cloud and pick up where you left off.

You can also use Bedrock as a backup system so that you won't ever lose your worlds, even if you lose your device.

It is important to note that Bedrock requires your Minecraft worlds to use the "External" File Storage setting in Minecraft Settings->Profile->File Storage Location. If it is set to "Application", Bedrock won't be able to access your worlds. While not officially supported by Microsoft, there are methods to copy your worlds from "Application" storage to "External" storage using online tools.

Bought the app on the promise to sync Minecraft worlds. No, the app can't do that, not at least on Google Pixel which uses internal storage for apps including Minecraft. It asks me to configure the app to use external storage and then point it to where I saved the game files. If I could do that then I don't need the app, I will just copy the files myself via USB + computer. Does not solve problem, price low enough that it's not worth it asking for a refund. Good business model. Uninstalled.

Well originally before the Minecraft update, you could just point it to /games/com.mojang. Now they put the files elsewhere. Instead of taking down an app I worked hard on, I added a workaround for Android 11.

Because of Android's annoying storage restrictions, syncing the worlds is not as comfortable as I'd like it to be. Moving the worlds around on your phone every time you want to switch devices is tedious but works. I'm guessing this would be a lot simpler with a rooted phone though.

Hi! I added a workaround in the app, if you saw. You can export your worlds manually to the old location so Bedrock can use them, then copy it back after. It's a hassle now but it's the only way. Sorry 💝

This app literally saved my Minecraft career it's such a needed app and I wish mojang had this feature built in, my only issue was having a bit of trouble showing my MC worlds due to a file issue but once I got it working it allowed me to transfer worlds from my old phone with no issues!
