Have you ever tried adjusting your device's animation speed in the developer settings, but could only select between 0x, 0.5x, and 1x?

Tempo curates speeds that are most satisfying to use, including Slow, Relaxed, Default, Snappy, and Instant. Choose between dialog speed and application open & close speeds, as well!

ROOT IS NOT REQUIRED!

Tempo needs an extra permission to function, called Write Secure Settings. This allows Tempo to read and write to the device's animation scales. A computer is required to grant this permission, so make sure to follow the instructions in the app.

Ratings and reviews

It's great to have a more granular control over system animation speed, as the out of the box option of 0.5x is just too fast

Only goes to 1x speed can't add any custom values or change to 1.2x or something that should exist

Works beautifully. Essential on any high refresh rate screen.
