A shared expense ledger built for exactly two people.

Track what you spend together, split every bill fairly, and see who owes what without spreadsheets or awkward mental math. Expense Tracker is made for everyday couple life: quick capture at the counter, a clear balance on the sofa, and useful context at the end of the month.

SPLIT EVERY EXPENSE FAIRLY
• Choose 50/50, custom percentages, exact amounts, or put the whole expense on one partner.
• Odd cents are assigned exactly and rotated over time, so the same person does not always carry the extra cent.
• Balances are replayed from the full expense history instead of relying on a total that can drift.
• A possible-duplicate check can warn you before you save a similar expense.

KEEP WORKING WHEN THE SIGNAL DOESN’T
• Add, edit, and delete expenses offline.
• Pending changes are clearly marked and safely queued for sync.
• The app separates the last server-confirmed balance from local pending changes, so you can tell what your partner has received.
• Settling up requires a live connection and confirms against the latest shared balance.

OPTIONAL AI WORDING
An optional Home note turns a verified local insight into a short sentence. Your figures are calculated on your device. When enabled, Gemini receives only bounded, sanitized description/category context and opaque fact labels. The actual monetary values are inserted on your device after the response is validated. Turn AI insights off any time.

BUILT WITH LESS DATA, FEWER SURPRISES
• No ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
• No bank-account linking, card storage, money movement, or payment integrations.
• We do not sell your data or use ledger content for advertising.
• Client access to the shared ledger is limited to authenticated members of your two-person space.
• Data is encrypted in transit; Google encrypts data at rest in its infrastructure.
• Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for local auth, cache, and offline queue data.
• Limited Firebase analytics, crash reporting, and performance diagnostics help us keep the app reliable; ledger amounts, descriptions, dates, categories, and split details are not sent to Analytics.

DELETE WHEN YOU CHOOSE
You can delete your account in the app or on our website. In a two-person space, shared expenses and settlements stay with the remaining partner so their history continues to balance; your personal profile, devices, preferences, gifts, reports, and invites are removed, and your name becomes “Former partner.” See the privacy policy for the full retention contract.

A FEW IMPORTANT LIMITS
Each space is for exactly two people, pairing is permanent, and each space uses one currency. There is no third member, unpair, or exchange-rate conversion yet. The app records a shared ledger; it does not move money.
