Chromatic Dragon Pattern Perception is inspired by classic memory games of repeating patterns of colors and sounds. Can you remember and repeat the pattern?
We have designed this game to be accessible, with many options to customize.
Menu and informational screens start with a colorful background and animated title text. You can toggle this by clicking the button at the top left of the screen.
If the default font we have chosen (Dieter Steffmann’s Cavalier) is not readable for you, you can use the second button at the top left of the screen to cycle between it, the default Godot font of OpenSans SemiBold, and the Braile Institute’s Atkinson Hyperlegible Next font.
The game board is also configurable.
There are 5 preset difficulty settings, plus a custom mode.
You can start with 3 to 8 buttons/images. The number can, optionally, increase over time, up to 8.
Buttons can be a torus (doughnut shape), shapes, shape outlines, numbers, colored dragons, or a mix of animal faces.
Non-torus buttons can have a border and/or shaded background to highlight them.
For added difficulty, you can make the images colorless/greyscale.
Sound options currently include a musical scale, animal sounds, and spoken words for shapes, colors, numbers, and animals.
There is also an option, enabled by default for easier difficulties, that will allow pressing a button to repeat the current pattern.
The game board background can be grey, blue gradient, or colorful.
High scores will be tracked for each preset difficulty, and the custom mode.
