Drawing Animation is a drawing app that turns your sketches into moving cartoons. Draw one frame, add the next, press play — the animation runs right on your canvas, and you export it as video or GIF with no watermark and no ads, on the free plan too.
Animate art the classic way: a flipbook timeline, a canvas that feels like paper, and drawing tools that stay out of your way. Sketch, paint, doodle a character, or animate a whole short cartoon on your phone or tablet.
NO WATERMARK, NO ADS
Every animation you export is clean. No logo in the corner, no banners, nothing interrupting you while you draw. That is true on the free plan as well, not only after you pay.
DRAW OVER VIDEO
Import a clip and it becomes a reference layer, frame by frame. Trace the motion, then hide the video and keep only your drawing. Rotoscoping is open to everyone here.
SEE THE MOTION WHILE YOU DRAW
Onion skin shows the frames before and after in different colors, so you always know where the movement is going. Hold any frame in the timeline to preview it over your canvas. Play slower or faster, loop it, and fix the timing before you export.
A TIMELINE THAT KEEPS UP
Add, copy, delete and reorder frames by dragging. Select many at once and move them together. Work in layers, lock transparency, fill with the bucket, add titles with the text tool, and change brush size without leaving the canvas. Grid and zoom keep your proportions steady, and the grid never shows in the export.
YOUR DRAWINGS ARE SAFE
Every stroke is saved the moment you finish it, and a crash brings your draft back. Deleting a frame or a layer can be undone. Deleted animations wait in the trash before they go for good. Back everything up to a single file whenever you like.
SOUND AND MUSIC
Record your own voice straight onto the animation, or pick a track from the built-in music library. Trim it, mute it, and set the volume of each track separately.
EXPORT AND SHARE
Save to your gallery or share anywhere as MP4 video, GIF or PNG sequence. The export keeps running when you leave the app.

Left-handed mode, dark theme, stylus-only mode on tablets, gestures for undo and redo, and a streak counter to keep you drawing. Sample projects are there when you want to take an animation apart and see how it was built.
