DrayTech Driver is the mobile app for drayage drivers running container moves at the Port of Houston, Port of Oakland, and the Los Angeles / Long Beach complex. It connects you directly to your dispatcher, your loads, your pay, and the terminals.
WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP
- See your assigned loads in real time, with pickup terminal, container, chassis, consignee, and required equipment all on one screen.
- Get turn-by-turn navigation to terminals, hubs, and consignees with Google Maps.
- Auto check-in and check-out at every site - geofence stamps prove arrival and departure for accessorial pay (detention, waiting, dry-runs).
- Capture proof-of-delivery photos, Equipment Interchange Reports (EIR), seal photos, and damage photos directly against the load.
- Pull a container's gate hours and last-free-day, request an Express Gate Pass appointment, and see your assigned gate slot - without leaving the app.
- Chat with dispatch in WeChat-style group and 1-on-1 chats. Send photos and files. Get notified the moment a new load is assigned.
- View your driver-pay statement: trip pay, accessorials, fuel surcharge, deductions, and net pay by week.
- Submit equipment-maintenance tickets with photos when a truck or chassis needs attention.
- Trilingual UI: English, Chinese (简体中文), and Spanish (Espanol).
WHO IT'S FOR
DrayTech Driver is built for commercial drayage drivers operating under a motor carrier that uses the DrayTech transportation management system. You will need a driver account created by your dispatcher to sign in. You sign in with your phone number - a one-time passcode is sent by SMS.
LOCATION & BATTERY
The app uses precise GPS in both the foreground and background while you are on duty so dispatch knows your ETA and so geofence stamps are accurate. You can stop background location at any time by signing off. Background tracking is optimized for low battery impact.
