Take photos without pressing the shutter—Whistle Camera listens for a whistle and captures a shot automatically. Great when your hands are full, you’re using a tripod, or you want a steadier selfie.

How it works
• Whistle to take a photo when whistle detection is on.
• Use the on-screen button for a normal manual capture.
• Optional countdown (timer) before the shot.
• Switch between front and rear cameras, adjust flash, and use pinch or the zoom control.

Video
• Switch to video mode to record video.
• You can use whistle-based options to start or stop recording (see in-app settings).

After you shoot
• Browse captures in the built-in gallery.
• Share or delete items.
• Optionally save to your device gallery (if enabled in settings).

Tips
• If whistle detection feels picky, open Settings and try a lower sensitivity level or adjust the detection range to match your whistle.
• Whistle detection uses the microphone only while you use the app.

Tried many camera apps over the years & the Whistle Camera is hands-down the BEST! The timer, with audible countdown, gives you time to get ready, the photo quality is excellent, the 'whistle' signal makes it easy to take repeat shots without having to mess with camera settings (and I can't whistle, but I manage 🤭). The devs have done a great job with this app & I was happy to pay for the Pro version, which is very fairly priced & eliminates the ads. Thank you devs, for this great camera app!

Great App. I us it for Fishing to capture my catches! Only problem is that I have to be quite close to my phone for it to pick up my whistle, even when set on HIGH, not ideal!!! But for this, I wouldn't hesitate at going up to rate 5 Stars!!! ... PS. I need to be less than 1 meter from phone for it to pick up my whistle. Sometimes, a better result are photos taken around 2 metres!!! I use Samsung A10. Thankyou.

So over all I really enjoy it. What I like about it is: The whistle is sensitive so you so not have to whistle very loud. It saves the photos in your photo album, instead of on the app album. My biggest annoyance with the app is that even thought the app is closed down, its still running the background. So I have to go into the phones app settings and force it to stop manually. Surely this could be amended. I use it on an android phone.
