About this app

Left To Do shows you what's left to do the moment you turn on your phone.

Write it down, forget about the app. Next time you wake your phone, your list is right there. Nothing to open, nothing to remember.

■ Shows up when your screen turns on
· Choose when: off / only when something is left / always
· Show it in front of the lock screen, or only after you unlock
· Close it whenever you're done — it waits for you
· The whole feature can be turned off in Settings

■ Home screen widget
· See how many items are left and the list itself
· Tap the circle to mark something done right from the widget
· Each widget has its own settings: background, text size, alignment, dividers, done-button position
· Add several widgets and style them differently
· Tap the gear on the widget to change it any time

■ Just write and clear
· One-line input, add instantly
· Tap to edit, long-press to reorder, swipe to delete
· Finished items stay crossed out, or hide them
· Deleted items go to the trash (keep for as long as you like)

■ Count in your notification
· No sound, no vibration — just the number of items left
· Tap the notification to open your list

■ Make it yours
· 12 background colors, text size, alignment
· Done button on the left, right, or none; input box top or bottom
· Dark mode supported

■ Your data
· No sign-up, no login
· Everything stays on your device and is never sent anywhere
· Export to a file and restore from it

[About permissions]

· Notifications: keeps the app running to watch for the screen turning on, and shows the count. No sound or vibration.
· Display over other apps: required to bring up the list when the screen turns on. Nothing is drawn over other apps.
· Ignore battery optimization (optional): prevents battery saving from stopping the list from appearing. The app works without it.
· Storage (Android 9 and below): used to save backup files.

The widget needs no extra permissions.
