Ratings and reviews

App sucks. The app asks you to upload your license and title to verify your identity and the title. The app didn't provide a confirmation of the title upload. So I kept trying to upload it. Instead of continuing with next step, I clicked on upload documents. It said "under review" and stayed that way for days. Meanwhile, I tried to contact customer service. It's basically impossible. The chat feature in the app was not an option, and there is no number listed. The sale didn't move forward.

Sat on my paperwork for 6 weeks before asking me for more documentation. Terrible communication. No ability to speak to someone.

I wanted to sell my car to my wife, but didn't want to deal with the stress of paying off my car loan, financing her car loan and handling all the transaction details like registration title transfer...etc. I did a quick search on Google thinking there has to be a platform that does this for you. And luckily we found the Caramel app. This app simplifies the private party car sale transaction. Their support staff was very helpful and truly gave the white glove treatment as we completed the sale.
