Turn Off uses the Accessibility service to allow the user to lock the screen with a tap, using the app button or the floating button.

This usage is necessary to lock the screen on recent versions of Android while keeping fingerprint unlock available. The app does not use Accessibility to read screen content, monitor actions, capture passwords, change settings without permission, collect, store, or share personal data.

The Accessibility service is only activated when the user accepts the disclosure in the app and manually enables the “Turn Off - Lock screen” service in the Android settings.
