About this game

DropLineRead is a fast, offline four-in-a-row duel. Choose a column on the vertical rack and your piece falls to the lowest open slot. Connect four of your own pieces in a row, column, or either diagonal to win. Every match is short, readable, and playable without an internet connection.

GAME RULES
The standard rack holds seven columns and six rows. Players take turns dropping one piece at a time. A piece always lands in the lowest empty cell of its column. The first player to line up four pieces wins. If the whole board fills up without a line of four, the match is a draw. Full columns are clearly marked and cannot be selected.

PLAY THE WAY YOU LIKE
Play alone against a local computer opponent on three difficulty levels. Beginner reacts to an immediate win or loss. Standard blocks threats and builds simple double threats. Advanced favors the middle columns and looks a few moves ahead. Or share one device with a friend in the two player mode and take turns at the same rack.

THINK BEFORE YOU DROP
Tapping a column shows a semi-transparent preview of where the piece will land. Tap the column again to confirm, or turn on the quick drop option in Preferences so the piece lands right after a short pause. A preview and confirmation step keeps every move deliberate.

PRACTICE WITH TACTICAL PUZZLES
Sharpen your game with more than thirty tactical exercises in three groups. Win in One asks you to complete a winning line immediately. Only Defense shows a single move that stops the opponent from winning. Double Threat trains you to create two threats at the same time. Every puzzle states a clear goal and a move limit, and solved puzzles are saved with the fewest moves you achieved.

LEARN WITH THE INTERACTIVE TUTORIAL
The built-in tutorial walks you through gravity drops, all four winning directions, attacking, and blocking on real board positions. After every match, the result screen highlights the four winning pieces and their direction, shows the total rounds and key drops, and lets you step through the full replay move by move.
