About this app

Dropo is a VPN client for Android with internet traffic routing.

Connection Modes
• "All over VPN" — internet traffic is routed through the selected VPN source. Local addresses and saved exceptions remain direct.
• "By Service" — supported service routes are configured separately. Some connections can be routed directly according to selected rules.

VPN Sources
Add your own subscriptions and supported VPN configurations. You can select a source manually or use automatic selection during the connection process.

Optionally, you can add Dropo Free — a free subscription through the Dropo service. Before adding, the app displays a separate warning about the operator. Speed, availability, and server selection depend on the selected source and network and are not guaranteed.

How VPN is used
Dropo uses the Android VpnService to process network packets, DNS requests, and route connections. Before the first connection, the app displays data disclosure information and requests explicit consent. Android then separately requests VPN permission if it hasn't already been granted.

In the Google Play version, traffic from the device to the VPN node is transmitted over an encrypted VPN connection. The operator of the selected source can see connection addresses and content not protected by the website or app itself. Direct routes and local exceptions do not pass through the VPN.

Connection status is displayed in the app and as a persistent notification. You can disable the VPN in the app or via a notification.

Account and Data
Basic VPN features are available without registration. Optional login via Telegram opens the account section and session management. VPN profiles and routing settings are stored on the device. Diagnostic logs are not automatically sent to the developer. The app is ad-free.

Demo Mode
A public demo login with username and password is available in the account section. It displays a training profile and sessions, runs locally, and does not create a server account. The demo does not provide paid services or change VPN sources or settings.
