Amal: Your Zero Waste Challenge

Join Amal, the eco-friendly app designed to help you embrace the 7 R’s of a Zero Waste lifestyle: Refuse, Reduce, Regift, Reuse, Recycle, Replant, and Report. By taking small, meaningful steps each day, you’ll cut down on waste, protect the environment, and inspire others to do the same. We know this transformation doesn’t happen overnight, but with collective effort and the belief that “one person can make a difference,” real progress is possible.

The 7 R’s with Amal
Refuse
Say “no” to single-use or unnecessary items. Whether it’s plastic straws, disposable cups, or excessive packaging, refusing these items whenever possible helps prevent waste before it even begins.
Reduce
Minimize the amount of trash you produce each day. For example, buy only what you need, choose products with minimal packaging, and consume resources more mindfully.
Regift
Donate or pass along items you no longer need to friends, family, or charities—turning your clutter into someone else’s treasure. Through Amal, you can arrange safe pickups and delivery of items like clothes, food, books, or toys to the charities of your choice.
Reuse
Extend the life of everyday products by finding creative second (or third) uses. For example, transform empty jars into storage containers, or repurpose old clothes into cleaning rags. If you don’t need certain items, consider giving them a new home via donations.
Recycle
Separate paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, and metals for collection. With Amal, you can report and schedule pickups of recyclable materials. Our representatives will collect, weigh, and compensate you for your recyclables while rewarding you with Green Points.
Replant
Planting a tree is a long-term investment in our planet’s future. Take a picture of your sapling and upload it in the Amal app to track its growth, inspiring others and offsetting carbon emissions. Over time, your reforestation efforts will help create cleaner air and healthier ecosystems.
Report
Spot waste or trash scattered in public areas? Snap a photo and upload it to Amal. We’ll forward your complaint to the relevant local authorities and follow up if the issue isn’t addressed promptly—keeping you in the loop every step of the way.

Request a Bin: Need extra containers for proper waste segregation at home or in your community? Use Amal to order additional bins and step up your recycling game.
