MapMemo is a simple notepad that lives on Google Maps. Save quick notes and memories right where they happened, and build your own personal map.

Restaurants you want to try, spots you don't want to forget, travel memories — pin them all with a note attached.


【Key features】

■ Add notes to the map
・Long-press anywhere on the map to see its address, then save a memo on the spot.
・The address is filled in automatically and can be edited later.
・You can also create a memo from the Share menu of Google Maps and other apps.

■ Attach photos
・Keep photos with your memos (up to 10 per memo).
・Take a picture or pick from your gallery. Tap to view full screen, swipe to browse.

■ 210 marker icons to choose from
・From classic pins to cafe, ramen, hot-spring and park icons — 210 markers in 10 categories.
・Zoom in to show memo titles right below the markers (can be turned off in settings).

■ Memo details in a bottom sheet
・Tap a marker to view the memo in a compact sheet that doesn't hide the map.
・You can keep panning and zooming while the sheet is open.

■ Organize with labels
・Create your own labels like "Cafe", "Travel" or "Wish list" and attach them to memos.
・Filter both the map and the memo list by label, so nothing gets lost as your notes grow.

■ Memo list & search
・Browse all saved memos with photo thumbnails, keyword search and sorting (updated / created / title / nearest).
・Search the map by place name or address and jump right there.

■ Home screen widget
・Add a memo at your current location with a single tap on the widget.

■ Share memos
・Share a memo as text with a map link — perfect for sending "you should check this place out" via LINE or any messenger.

■ Backup / Restore
・Back up to Google Drive and restore anytime — photos included. Perfect when switching phones.
・Local export / import and backup-file sharing are also supported.

【Quick guide (FAQ)】

■ How do I create a memo?
・Long-press the location on the map.
　Tap "Add memo" on the sheet that appears to open the registration screen.

■ How do I view or edit a memo?
・Tap its marker on the map to see the memo in a bottom sheet.
・You can also edit it from the "⋮" menu on the memo list screen.

■ How do I delete a memo?
・On the memo list screen, open the memo's "⋮" menu and choose "Delete".
　※Deleted memos cannot be restored, so please be careful.

■ How do I move my data to a new phone?
・Use "Backup" in Settings to save your data to Google Drive, then restore it on the new device.
・Or share the backup file directly to the new device and use "Import from file".

What’s new

• You can now turn off marker grouping in Settings and see every pin individually, even when viewing a wide area of the map.
