DTX – Digital Wellbeing & App Blocker
** This App works with DTX - Partner App for accountability feature, download DTX Partner separately to unclock accountability partner feature. Visit Digitalwellbeingtechnologies.com for more information **
The app blocker you actually can't talk your way out of.
Most blockers fold the moment you really want to break them. You disable a setting, force-stop the app, restart your phone, or find another way around the restriction, and the habit wins again.
DTX is built differently. Once a block is active, DTX is designed to hold the boundary across apps and websites, helping you stay committed to the limits you set.
Accountability is the difference. DTX is built around an accountability partner, and that's what makes it work. Link a partner you trust, and they can help manage early access to blocked apps and websites. When you want early access to a blocked item, you can send a request explaining why. Your accountability partner can review the request and approve or deny it.
That small moment of friction is exactly what turns "I'll stop tomorrow" into real, lasting change. You're not relying on willpower alone.
Use DTX for yourself, or use it to help someone you care about build healthier digital habits.

How DTX uses VpnService
DTX uses Android's VpnService API as part of its core website-blocking functionality. It enables device-level DNS filtering so DTX can block websites and web domains selected by the user across supported browsers. The VPN functionality is used solely to enforce DTX's blocking rules and is not used to provide general VPN, anonymity, IP masking, or unrestricted browsing services.
How DTX uses Accessibility Service
DTX uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core app and website blocking functionality.
DTX may access and process the names of apps you open and the web addresses (URLs) of websites you visit in supported browsers. This information may include web browsing activity and is used to determine whether an app or website matches the block list you have configured and to enforce your restrictions.
DTX uses this information solely for its blocking and digital wellbeing features and does not use it for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Data DTX accesses
DTX processes app and website activity necessary to enforce the user's blocking rules and provide optional usage insights. If the user enables accountability sharing, relevant activity summaries may be shared with their accountability partner. Data transmitted by DTX is encrypted in transit.
App & website blocker you can't bypass. Unblock with partner approval only.
