App constantly resets and you have to keep adding back the device.

This app tries to block you from using it if your phone is rooted. I am generally not too bothered by this for apps with a reasonable security requirement such as banking apps/competitive games, but being locked out of a PET FEEDER (or any random IoT device) because of the software I have installed on my phone is absolutely asinine and not acceptable in the slightest.

Feeder works well enough, app connects to feeder well enough. Two people in the same household can't connect to the same feeder at the same time though, and the app wants location services on and permission to use that data, which is egregious just for a pet feeder.
