Welcome to LexiLearn, the English vocabulary learning application!
Learn new English words through a flashcard system using words from a large vocabulary database. Expand your vocabulary and add new words to your knowledge with LexiLearn.
Determine your level with tests whose difficulty changes as you solve them.
The application also keeps statistics of the completed tests and calculates the user’s level. A record is kept of the words you answered correctly or incorrectly, and through such statistics your English vocabulary level is determined. With this application, you can both learn English vocabulary on your own and witness your own progress throughout the learning process.
For each word, there are sections that include the meaning, an example sentence, and synonyms. You can hide these sections or practice while keeping them visible.
In the practice section, the word appears at the top, with next and previous options beside it. Below it are the meaning, an example sentence in English, the Turkish translation of the example sentence, and the synonym of the word. Thanks to this additional information, you do not simply memorize the word. Through example sentences, text to speech feature, the option to display Wikipedia information, and the ability to see the word’s synonyms, you will learn the word thoroughly once and never forget it.
In the test section, the word again appears at the top. Below it is an example sentence as a hint, and beneath that there are 4–6 answer choices. The user selects one of these choices to try to guess the meaning of the word. As the user progresses, the correct and incorrect answer rates are recorded. After the user solves a certain number of questions, their level is determined based on their accuracy rate. These statistics contribute to their learning process.
In the statistics section, the following data appear in a list from top to bottom: total correct answers, total incorrect answers, tests taken, accuracy rate, level, and the number of words practiced.
