About this app
ANT (Anteater Network Tuner) is an unofficial fan-built player for KUCI 88.9 FM, the student-run college radio station at UC Irvine. KUCI has been broadcasting underground music, eclectic sub-genres, and public affairs programming since 1969.
ANT is not run by or affiliated with KUCI or UC Irvine.
WHAT IT DOES
• Plays the live KUCI stream, with background playback and lock screen / notification controls
• Shows the current show and DJ, with a progress bar for the timeslot
• ON AIR / OFF AIR status, and a clear label when the stream can't play
• Browse the full weekly schedule by day, and search shows and DJs
• Follows your system light/dark setting, with a choice of color themes
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
ANT doesn't host any audio or media. It plays the public stream links KUCI publishes at kuci.org/listen, and schedule and show details come straight from KUCI's own published listings.

- Pausing and resuming from the lock screen now picks the live stream back up, even after a long pause.
- A contact email is now in Settings, in the (i) explanations, and on the schedule's empty-day and gap notices. Tap to reveal it.
