The torch is the only law left in these halls.
Dungeons in the Night is an offline dark-fantasy action platformer. You are a knight walking a stone path under a cavern sky. Slimes wait in the wet dark. Bats drop from the ceiling. At the end of every hall a dragon stands on the last banner and does not move aside.
This is not a live-service. There is no account, no ads in the dungeon, no internet required. The phone runs the whole game.
THE DESCENT
Three halls, unlocked in order. Finish one, take the banner, then choose to go deeper or return to the menu.
• Ember Halls — the first fire, the first blood, the first dragon.
• Forked Dark — a split path, worse footing, the same hunger.
• Night's Crown — the last stone, the last coin, the last beast on the gate.
Clear a hall and the next one opens. Nothing ahead is given for free.
COMBAT
Sword, jump, spell. Left thumb moves. Right thumb strikes, leaps, and casts.
• Melee that has weight. Close in. Cut. Do not stand in the bite.
• One fireball per hall. Eight damage. One cell of mana. Spend it like you mean it.
• Behind the dragon sits a mana flask. The honest way is to kill the beast. The other way is to kite it, jump the gap, steal the flask, and burn the dragon twice. The hall will not help you.
BOSSES
Each level ends with a ground dragon, two and a half times your height, carved in dark-fantasy stone. It does not fly. It watches. Come close and it runs you down. The checkpoint is behind it. The banner is not yours until the dragon is dead.
THE HALLS KEEP SCORE
• Hit points on the left of the night.
• A single mana cell beside them.
• Three coins in each hall, spinning in the dark. Take them. The counter climbs with your HP bar.
• One heal in the stone. Full restore. The words “HP restored” rise off the floor and fade.
• Empty the mana flask and the stone says the mana is back. Then the dragon is still there.
HOW IT PLAYS
Landscape the moment you open a hall. A translucent pad on the left. Strike, jump, and spell on the right. Jump on heads. Use one-way ledges. The floor is solid relief stone to the bottom of the world — there is no pit under the grass that used to be there. The camera follows the knight. The music starts with the level and dies when you leave it. Volume lives in Settings.
