About this app

The Duracell app enables owners of Duracell batteries and EV Charger to monitor their homes’ energy on the go. With this app you can:
View the status of your Duracell connected home, battery, and EV Charger
View your household consumption and the power flowing through you Duracell connected devices, giving you a clear understanding of solar generation, battery usage and grid energy usage.
Access your historical energy usage data in daily, weekly, and monthly time periods, so you can understand your household consumption behaviour over time and the benefits to the environment.

Not fit for purpose. The figures never add up. I tried the VRT integration: it worked sometimes. I sent a message through the website querying this. That was 5 months ago, no answer yet. Most importantly, now the weather is improving, I've tried the Purgreen feature, charging only with renewables. It charges a bit with solar, then a bit from the battery, then a bit from the grid. It puts my daily electricity spend up by about 60% every time I use the feature. And the data refresh doesn't work

As of Sunday the 3rd May this app stopped working with all data 'flat lining'. Checking the app on an old phone came up with the same 'snazzy house scene interface' even though the app hadn't been used for months and therefore the shambles of this app cannot be blamed on a recent update. The pathetic excuse that there maybe issues with the internet connection, may in fact be true, but it is not at this end.

In the last few weeks there has been problem after problem. Data unavailable for hours on end, especially during my peak export period so I can't decide whether to export more. And today the app has decided my battery isn't configured. I've had the app for a year so why now?
