The night sky is full of falling threats — and your cities are all that's left to protect.
Skyguard City Shield is an offline, missile-defense arcade game. A row of cities sits along the ground. Missiles fall from the sky, each one locked onto a city. Your only weapon is a fixed defense silo at the center of the field — and your only input is a tap.
HOW IT PLAYS
Tap anywhere on the field to launch a defense shot from your silo toward that point. The shot isn't instant — it travels there over a real flight time, so you have to lead your target and predict where a falling missile will be, not where it is right now. When your shot arrives, it detonates into a ring-shaped blast that grows, then fades. Any missile caught inside that ring while it's active is destroyed and scores you points.
Miss, hesitate, or run dry on ammo, and a missile will reach the ground — destroying its target city for the rest of that run. Lose every city and your shield falls.
WAVES AND AMMO
Each wave hands you a limited pool of defense shots. Spend them wisely — that pool fully refills the moment the next wave begins, but not a moment sooner. As you survive more waves, more missiles fall, they fall faster, and a growing share of them are quicker "smart" missiles worth extra points when intercepted. How many waves can your shield hold?
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
- Classic: the full experience, with a tight ammo pool that forces real trade-offs under pressure.
- Unlimited Ammo: the same rising wave intensity, but your projectile pool never runs dry — perfect for practicing your aim and your timing without the pressure of running out.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND
- A real-time physics-driven engine — missiles, defense shots, and blasts all move and interact live, frame by frame.
- A custom night-sky canvas: trailing missile streaks, expanding interceptor rings, and silhouette cities that go from lit to rubble as the fight unfolds.
- Five simple sections: Play, Stats, Modes, How, and Awards.
- Persistent best score and deepest wave survived, tracked locally on your device.
- Eight awards to unlock as you improve.
- Calm, focused gameplay: no ads, no accounts, no sign-ups, and no internet connection required — ever.
- Silent by design: all feedback comes through visuals and gentle vibration, so you can play anywhere.
