Ratings and reviews

An easy, effective and affective way to hear and absorb The Bible; which is God's Word - sharper than a double edged sword. Hearing it will change your life, now and for all eternity. Jesus is Lord. An excellent selection of translations and some very good readers too. The background music is relaxing, however there are times when I want to just the hear The Word alone. Thankfully, you can do this too.

There's so much that's good about this app. It all comes from their vision and values to create an experience that helps you be drawn into the scriptures, to really soak and meditate on it. There's loads of audio Bibles around, but Dwell is the best I've come across. I love the different voices, I love the 'dwell' feature, it helps to listen back again with a different voice and get a new perspective on the passage. Brilliant work from the Dwell team.

Love it but given the annual cost I would love to see some development of it. A great one would be the option/automatic shuffling of the music. Whilst it is nice it always plays each track within a genre in the same order so I get bored of hearing the same tracks over and over and there are some cool tracks further in the playlist. Also had some issues with 'skip verse' button taking me to the end of a long track (90 day plan).

Over the last five years, we've added a lot of exciting new features, such as Read Along, Read, Repeat and Reflect, etc. These new features, while making your experience with Dwell more robust and useful, have also caused the player itself to become more clunky. So we really wanted to simplify the UI where we could, making it easier for you to focus on what matters most.
