Not sure if it's the app or the camera or both. The NF583S gets good reviews so I'm going to say it's the app..lol. The app is glitchy, tends to freeze, not often; enough to annoy, it turns grainy when aimed up and not up to the sky, just a slight bit.. maybe 5-10 degrees, and once in a while the settings don't change when selected (only for the 4 selectable presets not the verticle low/high limit adjustments, they're fine) Video is good, pictures are good, temperature guages are good, etc..

It does work to a certain level. Very difficult to determine NETD sensitivity in mK which is not overtly specified for NF-583s. From what I can determine, it is probably no better than 50mK. The low resolution does not help it either for further distant objects. It does have uses for helping determine energy waste around windows, doors, etc, and looking for hotspots on PCB boards for circuit repair. Software is not intuitive and difficult to configure requiring reverting to defaults a lot.

I liked the app before the last update. Some changes were made that makes it extremely difficult or impossible to use my Noyafa thermal imager for what I was quick and easy with the precious version of the app. I wish Noyafa would return my emails so I can get my imager serviced. Customer service is not available in the US apparently. Money down the drain.
