About this app

The unique design of Shannon Enroute airspace provides for a high level of flexibility. Smaller blocks of airspace can be combined to form sectors, due to the number of airspace blocks available there are 1000's of potential sector combinations. This app provides an interactive map that can be used to quickly identify the unique code associated with particular combinations of blocks or sectors.

Users can easily and quickly create a sectorisation, or plan for how the full airspace is divided by clicking the map to highlight airspace blocks. Once the appropriate sector is highlighted it can be added to the sectorisation list. This prevents the possibility of selecting the same airspace block more than once and also easily ensures all airspace blocks are allocated within the plan.

This app has been specifically designed to be used in the Shannon enroute control center.
