History, culture and tourism have an important role in the identity of a region in Indonesia. Southwest Aceh District, Aceh Province, also has historical, cultural heritage and attractive tourist destinations. However, globalization and foreign cultural influences have the potential to threaten local wisdom. Lack of attention to local history and culture and lack of tourist information in the media are problems. To overcome this, a mobile application was created that introduces history, culture and tourism in Southwest Aceh District. Its main objective is to introduce and preserve the history and culture of Southwest Aceh District, as well as promote tourism destinations. Application users will get historical, cultural and tourist information. This will help in the preservation of local heritage and broaden tourists' knowledge about this area. It is hoped that this application can be a positive step in preserving and advancing Southwest Aceh District. This application is named “explore ABDYA”.
