Battle across 11 crazy worlds, from Ancient Egypt to the Far Future, and beyond. I am in love with this game. Finished it a bit ago and I came back to play it again! I love how many worlds there are and how you can unlock so many plants. There are a bit more ads than I could handle so I just play offline. I just wish there was more of an ending instead of just an empty world slot but overall I adore it and would 100℅ recommend it to anyone who wants to kill time!

The game is a big downgrade from what it once was. I reinstalled it after a couple years of being away from it and it's pretty polarizing. You cannot skip the tutorial. There are ads after almost everything you do. A bunch of the levels have been changed or removed. You cannot go to any world of your choice anymore. And of course there are a bunch of overpriced plants for real money. Not to mention poorly designed new plants. can't give this a higher rating than 2.

I have fond memories of this game, so I tried to download it and revisit my childhood. I was perfectly willing to pay to disable ads (accepting that as the price of admission in a sense, because that's just what the world has come to nowadays), but turns out the game only allows you to buy THIRTY DAYS without ads, and for $2.99 no less. I remembered the game being full of microtransactions when I was younger but that's just a whole new level of greed. It infuriated me, and I immediately quit.
