The 2026 MSBA Leadership Conference — “Coming Together for Student Success: Focusing on Solutions.” — is scheduled for Thursday, January 15, and Friday, January 16, 2025, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Each year, the MSBA Leadership Conference attracts more than 2,000 school board members, superintendents, business managers and school leaders - concerned people who are anxious to see and hear about new and better products and services in education. The Leadership Conference features nationally recognized speakers, workshops on a variety of topics, an Exhibit Hall, a School Excellence Showcase, and a Recognition Luncheon. Early Bird Sessions are provided the evening before the conference.

The Minnesota School Boards Association is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1920. As a leading advocate for public education, we support, promote, and strengthen the work of Minnesota school boards. We are located in St. Peter and employ more than 20 staff members with over 150 years of combined experience in the areas of governance, management, finance, communications, policy, legal matters, elections, and advocacy. MSBA provides workshops, resources, services, and connections designed to help boards save time, reduce expenses, govern efficiently, and stay inspired.
