Toolminder is tool tracking, safety checks and vibration exposure monitoring in one app, built for teams that use powered equipment every day: sports grounds, grounds maintenance, facilities management, construction, engineering and local authorities.
Every asset carries an NFC or RFID tag, or a barcode. One scan opens its record, and the same scan proves the person recording a check or starting a usage timer was physically standing with that tool.
KEY FEATURES
- Identify any asset with an NFC, RFID or barcode scan
- Pre-use and end-use checks completed at the tool, with photos, notes and sign-off
- A due check must be completed before a tool's usage timer can start
- Hand-arm vibration monitoring: real trigger time converted into HSE exposure points against each tool's vibration magnitude, with alerts before the Exposure Action Value and Exposure Limit Value are breached
- Whole-body vibration and noise exposure monitoring alongside HAV
- Inspection schedules with customisable actions, and email alerts for overdue or failed inspections
- Service and maintenance jobs, assignable to operators, with costs recorded
- Assets allocated to locations or users
- Every check, defect and usage session saved to the asset's history: timestamped, named and audit-ready
Supervisors see the whole team's exposure live in the web portal, with weekly breakdowns by operator and by tool, supporting compliance with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
