I feel like there's a lot of potential for this app, but it currently feels a bit immature. A bit buggy, and they may have people performing a lot of manual operations in the background. I've had one cash back reward report with the wrong amount (this is a little alarming, because this process should be automated), and another award didn't post. Their customer service rep fixed both issues promptly after I emailed them with their in-app interface. I've only had the card for a few weeks, and 2 out of 5 transactions didn't process accurately, which isn't great. It looks like they're integrating with Dosh, which doesn't have the best reviews on the Google App store for their own app, so maybe the integration is responsible for a lot of these hiccups. The good: lots of merchants are participating. The bad: buggy behavior. It takes a few business days to deposit cash into cheese from my bank checking account. The ugly: I need to constantly monitor my cash back earnings to make sure they post correctly. Conclusion: I want a better way to save money, and I'm willing to jump through a few hoops, but this is a bit much. Cheese can one day be really good, and I'll keep using it for the time being. But most people aren't willing to do this much work to save a little extra. Recommendation: Check out cash app's debit card. I can't make as many purchases with it, but it's more convenient to use.

It's too soon to tell. I'm strictly using credit builder feature only. I don't have the card I linked my bank account which was a process at first and I almost gave up until the customer service helped me. They didn't actually take any money out I guess it's just pretty much collateral. I've been using it for going on 3 months but so far I have not seen any progress reflected on my credit reports or scores. I contacted them and they said they have been making positive reports to all 3 bureaus

Cheese has great potential but the customer service is extremely unprofessional. I have had issues with my account for months and all I have been able to do it sit around and wait for an email because they do not offer phone support. I am able to FINALLY log into my account for maybe 2 seconds before it kicks me back out again.. I have the updated version of the app so there shouldn't be any issues with being able to log into my account. I will be leaving CHEESE soon.
