Why It Matters:
Whales are vulnerable to collisions with vessels of all sizes. In California, gray whales are the most commonly reported victims of vessel strikes. On the Atlantic coast, the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale faces a similar threat. In the Mediterranean, vessel strikes are the leading cause of human-caused death for fin and sperm whales.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

It was great for a while. Now it shows no whale data all. Nothing. It has been like this for months.

I was so excited that the app was finally available for Android instead of just ios, but in spite of deleting and redownloading, restarting my phone, I can't even get the app to open. Samsung there is a "bug" and the app won't work until the bug is fixed. Please make the app available for android for real!

Wonderful, but please dev more options to filter, like instead of last 2 days, week, and month, I'd love to use last 1 day, or even enter duration like x hours. An interface to see a list of sightings, type, time etc. would also be nice. But I love the app!
