About this app

DANSTA is an app that turns a few taps into a dancing 3D character, then into a GIF sticker you can send.

"Nice one." "Seriously?" "Thank you."
When plain text feels flat, let a dancing character say it for you.


■ Three steps

1. Tap to choreograph
Press a button and the move fires instantly. Hold it, and the character freezes in the final pose.
There is no scoring, no winning, no timing window. You just move them however you like.

2. Add a line
Put a message on the dance you made. Switch the text partway through and it becomes a short slideshow.
Text can sit in the center or near the bottom.

3. Send it
Export as a GIF, an MP4, or a still sticker.
Send it straight to your chat apps and social feeds, or save it to your camera roll.

■ Put your own face on it

Crop a photo and use it as the character's face.
Choose a circle, an oval, or a square, and adjust the size.
Now it is you doing the dancing.


■ Your dances are saved

Keep them in the shelf and come back later to swap the background or the character,
or put a different message on the same dance.
The dance itself is stored as your tap timing, so you can rebuild it as many times as you like.


■ Pricing

Every asset and every feature is free. Characters, backgrounds and music are all open from day one.

The in-app purchase "Remove Ads (All-in-One)" removes advertising.
Any unlockable content added in future updates is included at no extra cost.
Use "Restore Purchases" when you change devices or reinstall.

Note: exported files carry a small DANSTA watermark.

- This app renders in 3D, so performance may vary by device.
- Photos are processed on your device. Nothing you shoot is uploaded anywhere.
- What you create is yours. Please do not use photos or likenesses of others without permission.

What’s new

- Much better video (MP4) quality: higher resolution and smoother edges, close to what you see in the app.
- Faster, lighter GIF export: about half the time and far smaller files.
- When a take has a song, the app now opens on MP4. GIFs cannot carry sound, so the GIF tab is labelled "silent".
- Fixed a bug where an export could be lost after an ad was shown.
- Music now plays from the very first launch.
- Your edits are kept even if the app closes while you are finishing a take.
