I've voiced reservations before about the limitations of this app, but it mostly works ok and I use it at times because I.have a few good books in ths app. But a week or so ago one book wouldn't open. I sent email to the developer and haven't even gotten a response, which I why I'm putting this in the play store.

Nice simple epub reader. The app has improved a lot since the earlier versions and it's rare to have a problem with it now. Easy integration with their store means you'll find and download virtually any book, almost too easy, I've spent hundreds of euros on ebooks.

the new update killed the beauty in this app, background whie no customization, keeps making the book sorting on its default forgetting my preferrence, the night mood is hidden I have 2 search 4 it. this is not an update, it is down all the way, I hate it.

Been using it for a long time. The wooden bookshelf skin was better. Now it just feels clinical. Please bring it back or at least add an option to change the entire theme of the app. More customization options needed. Edit: Looking forward to the update with alternative wooden bookshelf theme.

Have Google books etc but they've not as much choice has you my thing is autobiography at mo but wish you had more settings for change size letters and turn the words orange at night time etc really lets it down.was EE who offered me a free book w a link to your delightful named e~reader hope you'll update soon as see few reviews complaining it was better? Look forward to seeing changes I'd like to g more * then as choice is there!!

Just not working - won't download books in my account, just hangs with spinning circle; and loses preferences and where you are in book. Could put up with the lack of finesse compared to other apps but not the vasic lack of functionality. I can't read the books I have purchased, therefore the app couldn't be worse.

Dear Stan, thank you for the review. The sync just updates your booklist from your ebooks.com account, so you can pick which of your purchased books to download. Would you prefer it to download the books automatically? Then, regarding the zoom on images, I will look into this and feedback to our developers. Nice simple epub reader. Dear Samah, thank you for the review. I am sorry for the change, but the change in look is part of our constant development of the app. Partially to keep the design fresh, but also to make sure we adhere to Google's Material Design standards. I will talk to our developers about retaining your sort preference. Been using it for a long time. The wooden bookshelf skin was better. Now it just feels clinical. Dear Kiran, thank you for the review. I have passed your suggestion on to our developers. We may be able to bring the old style as an alternate theme. But it would require some work first to fit the new design. Dear Truck, thank you for the review. I have passed your suggestions on to our developers to take in to consideration. We recently changed the design of the app to modernise it and meet Google's new design standards. The functionality of the app is the same, and the app is only getting better, faster and more stable. Just not working - won't download books in my account, just hangs with spinning circle; and loses preferences and where you are in book. Could put up with the lack of finesse compared to other apps but not the vasic lack of functionality. I can't read the books I have purchased, therefore the app couldn't be worse.
The update was a disaster. The pagination and percentage completion are not working, showing values of 10500.00%. please do something to bring the good functionality back.

We would be happy to help resolve the issue. Please let us know which book(s) have the issue and whether they were imported or not. I do not like scrolling LEFT/RIGHT to read the pages of my ebooks. I prefer scrolling DOWN and UP to read the ebooks. Please find something to do about that immediately. That's the only reason I dislike this app.

Dear Ajibade-Azeez, thank you for the review. Currently PDFs will scroll vertically and EPUBs will scroll horizontally. I have passed you suggestion on to our developers to take in to consideration. Interface was klunky to start with and then wiped out the book altogether. Search fails, preferences don't get saved and many other annoyances

The rating decrease because i keep deleting the prepacked book and it keep coming back. U trying to force me to read those? Otherwise it is awesome. Though if i could search word meaning. Better

Dear Norazilah, thank you for the review. Not being able to delete the pre-packaged ebooks is a bug. Our developers are investigating and we should have it resolved soon. This app is pathetic. Always bugs and now with the new update all I get is a black screen

We would be happy to help resolve the issue. I like the app but some of my books aren't showing how pages there are and what page im on plz update that i can see how pages there are on all of my ebooks coz i like to whare im at and how left to go.
I've been using this app for a few years and its been great... until the new update, it will not save where I am and every time I open a book it puts me back to the same chapter every time no matter what I do
Totally screwed up after installing latest version. Book always starts from page 1, the store is useless. Miss the older version

This bookshelf design is awesome. I know how many book is there & which one I wanna read.
Love that it keeps my books on the same page I left them so anytime, anywhere whether I'm online or not, I can access them.
Great for catching up on my reading without having to bring along bulky books.

app kept forgetting what page i was on. uninstalling it.
