About this app

ECD is a field data collection and case management tool for community health workers, supervisors, and ECD program managers. Designed for low-connectivity rural environments, it enables health workers to register families, track children from pregnancy through age five, conduct standardized developmental assessments, manage referrals across the health system, and document supervision visits.

Family & Child Registration – Register households with GPS coordinates, guardian details, phone contacts, and demographics. Auto-generates unique family IDs with QR code lookup for fast retrieval during follow-up visits. Fully offline with automatic background sync.

Developmental Assessments – Conduct comprehensive ECD assessments using ministry-approved indicators across all life stages: prenatal (maternal nutrition, ANC), newborn 0-2mo (breastfeeding, cord care), infant 2-12mo (complementary feeding, immunization, milestones), and child 12-59mo (growth monitoring, positive discipline, disability screening). Each assessment generates actionable caregiver recommendations.

Referral Management – Create referrals to health centers and hospitals with full traceability. Track status from identification through service delivery and follow-up closure. Receive notifications on referral updates.

Supervision & Quality Assurance – Supervisors verify field worker visits via GPS tracking, complete structured supervision checklists, and provide real-time feedback with a complete timestamped audit trail.

Offline-First Architecture – All core features work without internet. Data stored securely with encrypted local storage. Automatic sync when connectivity is restored, with conflict resolution for simultaneous edits.

Resource Library – Download reference materials including maternal nutrition guides, vaccination schedules, breastfeeding videos, and developmental milestone charts in Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English.

Reporting – Generate monthly ECD coverage reports, monitor KPIs, track referral completion rates, and export data for program evaluation and donor reporting.
