used to be good. in the last update, they've removed 1.5x speed ( they E kept 1.25 and 1.75 speeds, but removed the 1.5x). they've also removed the ability to do an "audio only" option, so now I have to have my screen on otherwise it stops. and even then, with the video running the app doesn't stop the screen lock. so your phone will turn off after your screen lock time. I don't care about the user interface appearance, but echo360 has taken away the most useful options.

Streaming is poor when switching between videos. But the fact that you can only download one 'video' at a time (my school has two videos per lecture with the same audio for both), and the app is locked until the video is finished downloading makes it practically unusable. Even with both videos downloaded, switching between channels has a huge lag time. You need a 'download all' and 'download in background' feature urgently.

Disappointing that live streaming isn't available via the app. Live streaming on the website uses an enormous amount of battery on a laptop so I tried the mobile app instead, but nope, not available. Live streaming via the website doesn't work on any mobile browser either - it just gets stuck loading forever.
