About this game
Echo Chess is chess you can play without seeing the board — or without touching it.
Most chess apps treat accessibility as an afterthought. Echo Chess starts there. Say your move and it is played. Your opponent's reply is announced the moment it happens. Nothing depends on dragging, on small targets, or on seeing the screen.
PLAY BY VOICE, HANDS-FREE
- Speak moves naturally: "knight f3", "e4", "castle kingside", "bishop takes c6"
- Use the phonetic alphabet if you prefer: "echo four", "knight foxtrot three"
- Listening starts on its own — no button to hold or press
- Ask "where is my queen?", "what was the last move?" or "describe the position"
- Say "take that back" to undo while you are learning
- The app only asks you to confirm a move when it is unsure what you said
